Good variety of Venezuelan empanadas and arepas. The creamy green sauce that came with the empanadas was very good! The food came out pretty quickly.
Stellar restaurant serving arepas, empanadas, tequeños, and cachapas. Portion sizes are rather large and you really only need one arepa or cachapas per person. I really liked the Full House cachapa and the Pabellón arepa because the ones with plantains are delicious. They also a vegetarian and vegan option too!

I really liked the pabellon bowl I got, it was really good. I wish I had found some hot sauce, but I didn't see any and I didn't want to bother the workers. I understand it's not Venezuelan to spice things up. I also had a shrimp empanada, man o man was that amazing. They make them to order. The ziki sauce they serve with it is wonderful. I experienced superior quality customer service. I was the first person to order breakfast the Saturday morning I visited. I ordered the "Criollo" breakfast with meat. I waited about 10 minutes and received a delicious, hot breakfast. I very much enjoyed the large Americano coffee I drank with the breakfast. I cannot wait to return to ArepaZone on 14th Street, NW in Washington, D.C.!
They’re delicious but they need to not charge more for adding cheese bc anytime I’ve added cheese I get barely any chicken and all cheese. See the difference?
No regret walking 15 min for food. Emoanada seafood. Umami smell already reaches me from the counter. The crust is a bit hard to cut through in the small paper box, with the soft forks. The dough is mildly sweet, as other reviews mention. Goes well with seafood and lovely as my dessert heehee. The filling is slightly spicy and warming, lots of small pieces of seafood:) The arepa looks small but is really filled to its extreme. Flavorful lean yet juicy chicken. The arepa pocket itself is thinner and more crispy than the Colombia ones I had, the latter of which preserves more moisture and chewiness. Sauce is tangy and refreshing. I don’t have my +1 number anymore so I cannot order via the official website, and delivery platforms don’t have the full menu. I ended up forgetting to at black bean and avocado to my arepas. Lunchtime wait time is about 10-15 min. The nutrition sheet is more about dietary requirements and allergies. No calories info.
